This book can be found in a chest atop the Burnt Palace. The book, written by Maelihs, contains his decision in Av4 12 to leave Drehmal behind and reside in Ytaj indefinitely, stricken by guilt over what he has done.

Transcription¶
I can no longer look upon my creations with pride. They remind me of my failures and wrongdoings. This palace is a blight of evil upon this realm.
I shall leave for Ytaj to be amongst the Aspects. Maybe I will finally be at peace. One day I shall return to destroy this castle, put an end to this evil scourge.
I shall look forward to that day.
